This year will be record-breaking… literally! 👽✌️

His Glorious Divine Benevolence, The Leader! , everyone’s favourite extraterrestrial hot air balloon team will be attempting to break the record for the longest continuous hot air balloon tether, an incredible 15 hours! 🎈

Pilot Charlie will put his ballooning skills, endurance, and determination to the ultimate test.

Powered by, wait for it… 🥁… their new drinks brand, which will launch at the Fiesta and also features Alien H2O for our younger visitors.

Make sure you stop by the Young Bristol’s Youth Hub!

As our official charity partner, Young Bristol will also be bringing its pioneering Youth Club on Wheels, a mobile youth service reaching communities across the city where youth provision is limited.

At the Fiesta, they’ll be creating an engaging, interactive space for families, alongside an instructor-led climbing wall where visitors of all ages can challenge themselves, build confidence and have a go.

A brand-new space for families to relax, play and make memories together during the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.

Here’s what you can discover…

🦙 Puxton Park
Stay cool under the giant marquee while little adventurers enjoy a huge sandpit, swings and slides, plus say hello to the friendly alpacas!

📚 Jane Austen Centre
Step back to the Regency era with costumed characters, traditional games, photo opportunities, bonnet try-ons, and the fascinating secret language of the fan. You’ll also be able to browse exclusive gifts and pre-book tickets to visit the Jane Austen Centre in Bath.

🤸‍♀️ AirHop
Put your reactions to the test on the interactive Reaction Wall for the chance to win an AirHop Golden Ticket! 🏆 Plus, grab free goodies including drawstring bags, wristbands, stickers and snap bracelets.

Also at the Family Zone will be The Grand Pier, Longleat, and Cheddar Gorge and Caves, bringing together some of the very best family attractions the West of England has to offer! 🎉

Have you ever wanted to touch the sky? 👆☁️

There’s nothing quite like seeing Bristol as hundreds of colourful balloons rise around you during a Fiesta mass ascent.🎈

Passenger balloon rides take off at the Fiesta during our morning and evening mass ascents (weather permitting).

You can book a space in a shared balloon, or, with selected operators, enjoy the experience in a private balloon package. Flights are operated by our commercial balloon operators and must be booked directly with them. You can find the full list of operators and their contact details on our website.

Spaces are limited and flights are always in high demand, so if you’ve always dreamed of seeing the Fiesta from above, now’s the time to book! ☁️💨

During the event, Emily will be painting live, capturing the incredible colours, atmosphere and magic of the Fiesta as it unfolds. And if the weather plays ball, she’ll even be taking her canvas up in a hot air balloon for a truly unique perspective of the event.

Starting the week the very best way… 🎈❤️

A stunning launch of 14 hot air balloons from College Green, across the Harbour and over the Suspension Bridge. With many appropriately landing in our home of Ashton Court Estate just 18 days before we open the gates on the 48th Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in partnership with Albert Goodman .

Thanks you to our city centre launch partner Bristol BID , Bristol City Council and Bristol Cathedral for the use of College Green, Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel for hosting us and GWR for the boarding passes.

The greatest thanks to these brilliant balloonists who bring so much joy to our days, colours to our skies and magic to our city.

O beautiful Bristol, it’s a magical morning.

With just over 2 weeks to go, this morning we will launch 14 balloons from College Green for our City Centre launch in partnership with Bristol BID

Look out, look up and skyward; these beautiful beacons of the sky are heading towards Ashton Court Estate! After take-off we will continue to fly model hot air balloons and tether a couple special shapes on College Green for morning commuters.

It’s time to raise the curtain on the 48th Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in partnership with Albert Goodman . The full event programme is now live on our website.
