The Redgrave Theatre

The Redgrave Theatre One of Bristol’s leading theatres showcasing a variety of family shows, comedy, and live music.

The Redgrave is a 323 seat procenium arch theatre owned by Clifton College. It was built in the 60's and was orginally known as the Clifton College theatre, it was renamed 'The Redgrave' after the actor Sir Michael Redgrave an ex-pupil of the College. The theatre is still used for college plays and events but is also hired out to both local theatre groups and touring theatre companies. The theatre also plays host to stand-up comedy, live music and dance events.

In this hilarious yet thought-provoking courtroom comedy, a group of church women takes drastic action - launching a class-action lawsuit against the church for emotional trauma and “church hurt.” As tensions rise and secrets unravel, audiences are drawn into a roller-coaster of laughter, revelation, and debate — ultimately becoming judge and jury in this brutally honest exploration of love, faith, relationships, and accountability.

Working with young people aged 11–14, you'll lead a week of creativity, rehearsals and performance, culminating in a final showcase.

This is a freelance, fixed-term position for the duration of the summer school, ideal for someone passionate about youth theatre, confident leading drama workshops, and excited by inspiring young performers.
