Zane Bignell has been selected for the Somerset Men’s Team at SWCGA South West Week👏

A remarkable achievement for a 15 year old and quite likely one of the youngest ever to play in the history of this prestigious event🏆

Another sell out for wine & cheese last night with Matt Hinder, Captain 2025 handing over a cheque for £15,000 to his chosen charity Brain Tumour Research.

Well done to Matt on a successful year as Captain and thank you to our Members on raising an amazing sum of money👏

A very positive first course preparation session Sunday with our new junior members!⛳️

We covered the following key areas:

Finding your way round the Course
Course Etiquette & Rules
Safety
Completing a Scorecard
Tee Board and Timings of Course Play
Overview of the Members Website
Golf Access
Competitions

We took the group out to play the front 9 which included care of our course where we taught them how to repair pitch marks, rake bunkers, and replace divots👍

Thank you to our new junior members for attending and to our volunteers for their support in making the session a success

A great start to the season with lots to build on over the next few weeks 👏
