Swipe to see Nicks tour of the UK!
The company of Buried Thunder are so proud of what we achieved on this tour.
A massive thankyou goes out to all who made this adventure possible:
The Ivy Arts Centre (Guildford School of Acting), The Bristol Improv Theatre,
Liverpool Everyman Playhouse Ev1, and Norwich Theatre Royal Stage Two! Each performance was different and exceptional, and at each venue we were met with incredible hospitality.
The lecturers on the Theatre and Performance course at the University of Surrey.
Marcus Grey- score composer for Our Shore.
Antonio Josephides- lighting designer for Our Shore.
Alexandros Makedonas- Technical Operator for Our Shore.
Ted Tribe and Sara’s Aunt and parents, Rodrigo Pacheco for their generous donations and hospitality.
Tomo, for his guidance and support throughout our process, and Off The Ground Theatre for their support as well.
Rachel Lloyd for her hospitality.
Thankyou to Farnham Maltings for facilitating this opportunity via their ‘No Strings Attached’ grant- which allows emerging theatre companies to stage their debut professional performance (or Tour!)- do check out their website for more information on this fantastic scheme!
We would like to thank Katy Potter for the wealth of advice on the first steps that any theatre company should take, and her help in secure a workshop at Hurtwood House!
A huge thankyou goes out to the schools we performed and did workshops in- Hurtwood House, Hellesdon Highschool and Calday Grange Highschool- It was amazing to see how our work translates into a younger generation of performers.
⚡️
Although Buried Thunder is taking a short break whilst cast members graduate and prepare for jobs/ placements, we have some projects in the works for 2020.
Our website will be up and running shortly with information and reviews from the 2019 U.K Tour of Our Shore, along with information regarding workshops, future endeavours, booking and contact information should you wish to get in touch.
If you have a spare moment and could leave a review of your experience on either the website or the page it would be greatly appreciated
Much love,
