Get • BV Open Studios - You’re Invited!

Step inside, explore, and get inspired at BV Studios’ Open Weekend in Bedminster, Bristol.

I’ll be opening my studio and sharing a collection of works spanning past and current projects - from the mountains of Japan to the landscapes of Kenya.

Alongside my work, there’ll be 125 other artists, filmmakers, and creatives opening their doors - so there’s a huge range of talent and disciplines to discover all under one roof.

Plus, just opposite, Windmill Hill City Farm will be hosting a market, making it a perfect day out - especially if you’ve got kids in tow 🐐🌿

Get • Alongside my vases I’m excited to show additional work I’ve developed since last years open studios next weekend. Including these! They are made using the remnants of the inlay layouts from marquetry designs, I previously created for my Silhouette vases, that are usually discarded but instead have been preserved due to their delicate yet graphic nature. They are part of my ongoing collection ‘All that is Left’.

Open Studios 17-19 April (6-9pm Fri 17, 10-5 Sat 18 and Sun 19).

Get • These collaged leather sheds and houses are part of my contribution to the Make South West Exchange exhibition . The exhibition runs until 24 May.

I’m heading over to Cardiff tomorrow to see the exhibition and am looking forward to seeing everyone’s work - photos to follow.

And, a week today, my basement studio (B3) will be open for the Friday 17th evening (6-9) and Sat 18th and Sun 19th (10-5) as part of Open Studios. I’ll have more sheds and houses there.

Get • ooh a new painting, it will have a partner by 17th of April, in time for , I’m excited about opening up our little basement corner with . I’ve also decided to edition the second print, as I’ve had a few enquiries about it, it’s now in an edition of 30 and is called’a modernist migraine’ I have one proof available for £95, the rest of the edition will be £225, it’s 56x56cm. Lastly ‘Fresh Mountain Air’ is back in stock, it’s super popular this one, I can’t print them fast enough. I have one proof from this batch, also £95, DM me if you’d like either … new prints coming tomorrow …. 👀
