Both are selectors with a deep appreciation for bass weight, space and groove, and together they’ll be digging into a palette informed by early dubstep, UK soundsystem culture and percussive oddities. Expect dubbed-out textures and low-end frequencies designed to lock dancers into the groove for the long haul.

Dom’s recent Cycles EP is a masterclass in the art of the club tool, as he lets billowing synth chords drift across nimble percussion programming and sturdy sub bass.

🪂ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT: AMAIA 🪂

In a time where multi genre lineups have become the norm rather than the exception, there’s something special about a DJ who bucks the trends to hones in on a sound. Cardiff icon is one of the South West’s finest purveyors of 140bpm, with a record bag that honours the murky, eyes down sounds of yesteryear whilst celebrating the technical ingenuity of the scene’s current producers. As the co- founder of the trailblazing Misscoteque party and a long standing Noods Radio resident, they’re someone who sees the power of the dance to build community beyond the front left.

🪂ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT: RSD 🪂

We’re honoured to have RSD grace our day-to-night dance with a rare two hour set. He’s an artist who epitomises Trust, quietly shaping the sound of UK underground music for over three decades. First emerging as part of legendary Bristol group Smith and Mighty, his fingerprints are all over some of the UK’s most influential records, from Massive Attack to More Rockers.

As a solo artist, collaborator and engineer, he’s played a hand in the development of dubstep, drum and bass and trip hop. The Ashley Road studio of the late 80s and 90s is where a young cut his teeth as a producer, whilst RSD’s string of releases on the seminal Punch Drunk label pushed the sound of dubstep into new territory, with classics like “Pretty Bright Light” and “Jah Way” still getting spun regularly at parties around the world.

We’re delighted to welcome Bruce for a very special headline appearance.

As the driving force behind Poorly Knit and one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary club music, Bruce has spent the last decade forging a path entirely his own. Equally comfortable navigating soundsystem pressure, psychedelic mutations and leftfield grooves, his productions and DJ sets have consistently pushed beyond easy categorisation.

Whether releasing on Timedance and Hessle Audio, curating his own catalogue of adventurous music through Poorly Knit, or taking listeners on unexpected journeys behind the decks, Bruce approaches music with curiosity and fearlessness and has been a constant source of inspiration for us over the years

🚨LINEUP UPDATE - Our biggest barn dance to date just got even bigger ‼️

The Cider Box have given us the license to go through until 2am - so we’re bringing some more friends for the ride:

Bruce will be stepping up for a very special headline slot. The boss’s work in the studio and behind the booth has been a constant source of inspiration for us over the years. Bring an open mind and wade in with us.

and axle will be teaming up to bring a selection of dubwise pressure, invoking the palettes of early dubstep and Livity Sound as the framework for their forward thinking dancefloor grooves.

Heywood and Sarge will be coming up from London to open things up with a record bag full of tasty house and techno treats.

🪂 We’re rounding out summer with a day-to-night bassweight special, hoisting the mast at The Cider Box and sailing on into the sunset.
