Getting our YTM Perform group back together, FINALLY, has been fantastic! We're hugely inspired by the young people involved - thank you all! 🤩😍🙌

Not even the slightly ominous looking clouds could damp the spirits of our YTM Perform group as they completed their second day of filming yesterday.

From warm up games to getting into character to quizzing filmmaker Mikael, the group loved being back together and getting creative!

A huge thanks to everyone involved and to the weather for staying dry to make it easier to fit so much in! We can't wait to share the finished film with you in a few weeks' time. Watch this space!

Factory Singers are singing again! We are absolutely delighted to launch a half term of online choir rehearsals starting on Mon 15 February.

Our ethos is to sing with joy, passion, groove and style, whilst making a beautiful sound! We aim high, but don’t take ourselves too seriously – we just enjoy singing our hearts out.

Anyone can join – whether you’ve sung in choirs all your life or have only ever sung in the shower!

The Factory Singers is a 50+ strong chorus who meet weekly to sing together. This spring we launch a half term of online choir rehearsals.

Thinking about drama school for Autumn 2021? Opportunity to participate in this London-based drama school’s bold, innovative and ensemble-focused approach to actor training and experience a full, in-person audition day without the potentially prohibitive expense of travel to London, Fourth Monkey’s audition panel will be visiting selected locations throughout the UK as part of a series of regional audition days for 2021 intake:

• Bilborough College, Nottingham – Saturday 6th February
• MakeTank, Exeter – Saturday 20th February
• SOTE, Birmingham – Saturday 10th April

I am very pleased to tell you that the Get Involved team are back 'in the office' and we are ready to get planning to deliver some amazing activities for you all!

It may take us a little time to get up and running properly so bear with us. But please know that we cannot wait to see you and find ways to be curious, imaginative and creative with you all! 🎭

Following the government’s advice yesterday regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus epidemic, To***coFactory Theatres have taken the essential decision to close our doors and cancel all events until further notice. The health and wellbeing of vulnerable members of our community is our highest priority and this should help delay the further spread of Coronavirus.

We are currently working hard to reschedule upcoming performances, and all ticket holders will be contacted shortly. Please bear with us in the meantime.

As a charity that only receives 5% from public funding and relies on ticket sales for 75% of its annual income, there are enormous challenges ahead. With events closed and no audiences coming in, it will be increasingly difficult to cover our ongoing costs and pay our staff.

Given the scale of this challenge, we are asking for your help. A donation of any amount will help keep our community-led, enterprising charity going through very uncertain times, and enable us to support artists who’ve lost work.

Thank you for your friendship as we navigate this difficult period. You’ll undoubtedly have been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak personally, and we hope you are weathering the storm as best you can and staying safe and healthy.
