Back to School! The EYFS pupils at Ark Franklin in London will have a nice surprise when they return - the newly completed play and learning space!

This tired section of the playground (swipe to the end to see the before pics!) has been reimagined with a new messy play area, climbing den with slide and shade, balance trail and a water play feature in the school colour 💜 along with practical additions including fencing, storage and new surfacing.

We hope the children and teachers love their new space!

Our approach to public playground design is to create playful landscapes (playscapes) that every age, gender and ability can enjoy.

Playscapes are a considered blend of play equipment and landscaping to enhance the natural environment and ensure the whole community has a space that they can enjoy and be proud of.

Incorporating play into the landscape creates a natural, wild and innately inviting space that delivers a variety of play opportunities and experiences.

We aim to create spaces that can be explored and enjoyed by a wide range of ages and abilities, even adults will enjoy reliving their childhood balancing along logs and stepping across boulders!

We mix bespoke playground equipment with natural features, like logs and boulders, to create unique natural play spaces.

It all starts with an idea 💡

Check out the beautiful and inspiring designs our talented illustrator created for our Wendover Woods Giant Marble Run Trail design submission.

He really captured the movement, fun and playfulness of each unique station.

The theme was 'flight' inspired by the rich ecology and local heritage of Wendover Woods. Celebrating the woodland's wildlife, such as the Firecrest and Red Kite birds, along with the legacy of RAF aircraft.

Our Giant Marble Runs have many cool features to add intrigue and excitement...

Twists, turns, puzzles, sound, lifts and jumps to name a few!

We have lots of tried and tested features, along with new ones being prototyped in our workshop. We love coming up with new ideas to make each marble run trail we build unique to its location.
