🔶 We won’t be called Bristol Plays Music any more, you can call us Bristol Beacon instead 👍

If you are aged 12-18, and are at Grade 7+ on your chosen instrument, now is your chance to audition to join Bristol’s best youth orchestra!

Bristol Youth Orchestra is the city’s flagship instrumental ensemble featuring over 70 of the most talented young musicians in Bristol. The orchestra strives to give talented young musicians a world-class music education and experience, to encourage a future in music.

We’re looking to recruit members across the whole orchestra but if you play: Viola, Double Bass, Oboe, Bassoon, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba or Percussion and if you don’t meet the above requirements we’d still like to hear from you!

Closing date for applications is 1 July 2021.
