Hi all!

Inn Jokes is back, again!
Nearly 2 years after we tried to start this night back up we have managed to get our acts together to bring you free stand-up comedy in North Bristol. We will be running fortnightly events on Saturday nights at Inn on the Green, Horfield. First night back will be 2nd April.

It's going to be alot of fun to get this night back up and running. We are really excited about it so hope you save the date and come join us for some laughs!!

Note for performers, please message the page if you would like a spot and we will do our best to get you on ASAP. Also free drink for everyone who goes up!

Just an update on this gig. Venue is currently having works done, due for completion end of the month. We are therefore aiming to have first night back beginning of October. Will put out another update as soon as we know more. Looking forward to 'eventually' getting things back on track. Cheers Rob and Jack

Hello all,

We are sorry to say that we will be postponing the launch night and the events we had planned to follow it in light of the coronavirus pandemic indefinitely. We wouldn't want anyone getting INNfected at our gigs now would we?

Anyone? Is this thing on? (If that joke doesn't keep you away, then the army enforced quarantine will)

Stay safe out there people, we look forward to resuming back to normal programming after we have all left the proverbial Wi******er when this has all blown over.

Inn Jokes is back! And under new management! Jack Lloyd and Rob Grubb will be bringing back FREE weekend stand up comedy to North Bristol after a short hiatus on Saturday the 28th of March! Massive thank you to Kail for passing the torch over to us to get this night up and running again!

After the 28th, the night will be running fortnightly on Saturday nights (Facebook events to follow).

If you would like a spot for any of our upcoming gigs, please message the page and we will do our best to get back to you and get you on. We will also be running a walk up open mic after the main show.

This really is a fantastic room and we hope you are as excited as we are about getting this fired up and running again, so please save the date and we hope to see you all there soon!

So, on this first day of the new year I can finally say for sure that Inn Jokes will not be returning this year.

This is because I’m taking some time off from booking and running the gig for several reasons, but the main one is because I’m starting a business and needed to tidy up some of my obligations to give myself the freedom to do so.

I want to thank everyone who ever came along to support the night and made it such a wild and unpredictable room, an even bigger thanks to all those who have performed with us on nights good and bad, a much smaller thanks to all of the people that said they were interested on the event and never showed up and a big f**k you to all of the acts that bailed without messaging or lied about their experience level to get a spot on the main show.

Expect to hear from me when things settle down and I start something up again. But until then; Stick to your resolutions, try not to die and remember to compare your first set to your first time having s*x if you’re thinking of starting comedy. It’s a great and original joke.
