Lino Printing is a wonderful art form and during this day workshop we will cover a variety of cutting methods and hand printing techniques. Lino prints are a dramatic yet simple printmaking technique that can be used at home without any expensive equipment.
In this session I will show you:
How to use each of the cutting tools.
How to transfer your designs onto Lino. Show you different types of printing paper.
How to ink up a Lino Plate.
How to use a printing press.
Different hand printing methods (printing without a press) which can be used at home.
All materials and tools will be provided.
This workshop will run from 10:30 - 4:30pm, with a
hour lunch break. Please bring a packed lunch or visit one of the many cafes
close by on Stapleton Road/Old Market.
Who's this workshop for?
This session is ideal for beginners with no
previous printmaking experience, or those wishing to refresh their Lino
