One of my favorite things about pottery is the endless possibilities of what you can create. So many different clays to play with, surface decorations, glazes, you could never do it all in one life time ✨

I instantly fell in love with throwing when I first tried it and I don't think that will ever go away but I'm being draw to hand building and a completely different style of non functional creations which has me really inspired and excited like I haven't been in a while 🏺

So I wanted to talk about Christmas 🎄 and what you would all like to see available. I'm not sure I'll be making my current collection next year so I wanted to put all my love into the pots I make for Christmas and make sure you all get what you want, so let me know in the comments below 👇

Hello my loves, 🌻

I thought I'd do a little reintroduction cos it's been a minute and there's been alot of change recently.

So hi, I'm Raphaela, maker of all the pots you see at Raphaela Ceramics.

I've just turned 32 and I LOVE being in my 30's ✨

Last year I moved to Bristol which has been a little bumpy to be honest but even so, I'm really enjoying it.

In this photo I'm holding a new pot in a very different style that I've recently been creating.
The inspiration came from learning about the origins of pottery and the matriarchal societies of the time. I'll be posting more about it soon as I create more pots 🏺

This was the original moorland glazing method and I love it but I've been so enjoying being free with how I glaze this collection.

I'm thinking of bringing a light grey glaze into the mix too, though it can be a tricky colour to create so we'll see how it goes.

I'm planning my photoshoot for the early next week and loosely aiming for Thursday for the release but sign up to my mailing list for all the details and early access.

I'm so excited to share this collection of work with you all ✨
