Winning over audiences across her hometown, Layla has opened up for LA psych/shoegaze rockers The Warlocks and black-feminist-punks Big Joanie. Hand-picked by the artist, Layla opened up for Billy Nomates ahead of the ‘Metalhorse’ UK album tour last September.

Saturday 1st of August, join us as local harmonica player & singer Henry Slim returns with his monthly night of blues (and occasionally country & American folk!)

This month, guitar wizard Joe Wilkins returns as Henry's esteemed guest!
Also featuring jazz/blues stalwarts Mike Kennedy (bass), and Eddie John (drums).

Entry is free and start time is 8:30 pm, but get here early to grab your seat!

Carl Philip Louis Birthday Trio - 8:30pm
'A one-off celebration featuring the people who have informed, inspired and indulged the musical machinations of multi-instrumentalist and birthday boy Carl Philip Louis. An ambitious Avant-Jazz pianist takes on Emo, Folk and Punk-Poetry.

Featuring vocal talents and songwriting of Aether Valentine, Karen Swan and Steve Lake as well as guest musicians.

Second Act - Pilot Scheme - 10pm
'Pilot Scheme is the musical creation of Edinburgh Fringe-actor-turned-singer-songwriter Steve James. Fusing twisted soul, observations and butt-shaking rhythms.

Expect Indie-croon, story/tune. Has been described as the offspring of Nick Cave and Bob Mortimer'
