We had the most fun bringing Goodland's Tea Party Christmas pottery to the wonderful children of the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
We are so grateful for the invitation from GKN Aerospace Filton and Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal.

We spoke to so many wonderful children on the day and amazingly caring staff that support them.
It was very special. The pottery is in kiln as we speak and can't wait to see the art and hand them back.

Definitely full of Christmas spirit!

Hi All,

We hope you're all doing well and have been enjoying summer and finding ways to be creative.

We wanted to let you know that, until further notice, Goodland's Tea Party is taking a 'temporary break'. Our youngest daughter Lucy was diagnosed with cancer in July of this year and our lives have literally been turned on their heads. We're working through this massive challenge as a family but felt we needed to keep you, our customers, friends and supporters informed. As a result of this, we are not available for workshops, parties or the supply of takeaway kits for the time being. We hope to be back sometime in the not too distant future but right now, we just need time and space to work through things as a family.

In the meantime, keep doing the things that make you happy!

Hi Everyone! So we have some pretty cool news to share. Team Goodland are now a +1!!!

Welcome to the world Lucy Ann Goodland. Born yesterday morning at 9.07am weighing 8Ibs 4 ounces. Both mum and baby are doing just great.

It was all very unexpected, but we are totally thrilled, and our other daughter Molly is over the moon to have the baby sister she has always wanted!

René and I will be taking time away from Goodland's Tea Party for a while but we will be back at some point!!

Hope everyone is keeping busy with their crafts!

I have been lucky enough to have been asked to restore an old statue of the lady Mary for a very special lady who is a hard working nurse with our wonderful NHS.

She was given this statue many years ago and decided to have is brought back to life as a present to herself during this challenging time.

I have really enjoyed this project, especially finding the right colour that she wanted for the cloak. I couldn't completely restore the face as it was missing a nose and chin but the overall effect works.

Fingers crossed she will like it!

I enjoyed a morning of painting on a couple of tiles as part of a wall mural project.
So relaxing and enjoyable!
Looking forward to seeing them come out of the kiln.

**BYOB POTTERY COLLECTION UPDATE**

We wanted to update all customers who attended a BYOB workshop at Clifton College prior to lockdown that have not yet collected orders. We understand from Clifton College that the leisure center (where pottery is to be collected from) is still closed due to the COVID-19 crisis. They are closely monitoring the situation and guidelines outlined by the UK government and planning when and how they will reopen. Unfortunately we have no control over their plans to reopen and appreciate any inconvenience this may be causing you at present. For any direct events queries with Clifton College - please email - [email protected]

Hopefully the situation will improve soon and we will be keeping an eye on announcements from Clifton College and will be able to update you accordingly.

In the meantime, thanks for your continued understanding and patience.
