✨Portishead - that’s a wrap!✨
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s supported us this year, from our lovely customers who have been kind enough to leave us fantastic reviews, photos & videos on all of our social media pages, to the local councils who’ve helped us with displaying our temporary signs, and the hospitality of the local businesses in the town, which we’ve enjoyed supporting in return.
In particular, we’d like to give a shout out to:
- La Marina, Portishead Italian restaurant: when Trip Advisor described it as a ‘hidden gem’, they weren’t wrong!
- The Big Kitchen: delicious cupcakes!
- The Block Bakehouse: catered well for our gluten free staff members
- The Albion Portishead: our nearest pub, with lovely cheerful staff!
- Portishead Football Club: really welcoming to us when we’ve popped in for a quick drink
- The Post Office Hub: a really handy asset to have and very helpful staff.
- The White Hart: technically Weston-in-Gordano not Portishead, but one of our favourites for food nonetheless.
- Everyone who offered for us to display signs on their premises, such as local resident Tim Craggs & Phoenix Bar Portishead.
We’re sad to be leaving as we love spending the summer holidays here every year - it’s such a lovely town with so many independent businesses, a beautiful marina and fantastic people - but don’t worry, we’ll be back next year! If you can’t wait until then, we visit Long Ashton just 5 miles away in April/May.
For now - off to our final venue of the year, Reading!
