The paintball society is all about bringing fresh blood into the growing sport that is paintball! Whether your first experience has been a stag do out in the woods, or a professional tournament sup'air player, or if you havent even played, we are here to enjoy paintball and bring you the very best of the game! However for those of you who are less interested in the competitive side, we will be hol

ding regular walk on events (using our markers against people with their own gear) at the local skirmish paintball site in Portishead and Cribbs Causeway, as well as general rental days (using the site's equipment against the general public). There will also be many social events throughout the year, as well as training sessions within the Centre for sport gym to hone your skills, coaching you with everything from holding your marker and firing in a straight line, to being able to run across a whole field whilst shooting your opponent out from their cover. We also have a discord server for all of our virtual socials, games nights and chats. The Society committee are here to help you in any questions you may have, and believe us, we have heard them all, so nothing is too stupid. (unless you ask which way the paintballs come out the marker). Also, if you ever decide at some point to purchase your own gear, make sure you discuss your potential purchase with one of our committee members first, because of contacts we have within the industry and support we provide to dealers and affiliations the society has, we will be able to obtain a good deal for you and recommend the best products. Information will be updated on here on a regular basis so keep an eye out for whats going on and we will make sure this is the best society you have joined! All the best, and Enjoy the Society! The Christmas elves are here to tell you that this Saturday is our last session before Christmas (4-6 in the centre for sport as always).
We’ll be playing some “interesting” games.

SCUP 2021 is in the books! Congratulations to all the teams who played but in particular to UWE Paintball Society who took home both the SCUP title, but also the societies cup, but also to Leeds University Paintball Society - LUPS and University of Birmingham Airsoft & Paintball Society made up the rest of the podium.

We're also really excited to see the societies take a clean sweep at the top of the standings. This is not something we expected when we opened the event up to wider student teams, perhaps it shows we should see more student teams competing in CPPS.

We'd also like to thank everyone who supported the event from the volunteers to CPPS itself. The event could run without the support we get behind the scenes and we couldn't be happier to see the industry and the player base start getting behind student paintball.

Student Cup Today!

CPPS is the home of UK Tournament paintball, with over 100 teams competing in our series across 8 divisions, in the heart of England. Each Saturday and Sunday we stream a different division with live commentary and guest speakers from the world of UK paintball.

We are super excited

UWE Paintball Society BOOKED IN FOR SCUP!!

With paintball back on the agenda last weekend we thought it a good time to start building hype for SCUP (May 1st). UWE have been the team to beat in student paintball for over a decade now with numerous wins, and having never missed a podium since SCUP's inception. They're back for 2021, and bringing the whole crew, are they set to keep the streak alive?

Scup is back! Saturday 1st of May. Contact the page to get yourselves booked in!

We know it’s been a rough year all round for student paintball teams, so we’ve made some changes to Scup this year to make it more accessible.

For 2021 only, Scup will be run as a one day, 3 man format. Our hope is that this will make it easier for students to bring their own teams or create teams of them and their mates.

We’re also working on a set of rules that will provide clarity on eligibility and minimise any grey area that we know has been the frustration of some players in the past. We've always prided ourselves on being an open & friendly event that's accessible to all. This is the perfect opportunity for you to bring some of your mates along to try paintball and show them what its about. We can help organise kit for any teams that plan to do so!

We’re very much looking forward to seeing you all for what should be a highlight of a rather dismal academic year.
