Photography Exhibition

I am very pleased to be presenting a selection of my images, as large format prints, mounted on biodegradable cardboard, along with the costume, at the Creative Arts Showcase 2019 at University Centre Weston – Loxton Campus in Weston-Super-Mare. My work will be displayed in the Costa Cafe, next to the main reception. The show will be open June 12th-20th 2019 – Mon-Fri 10am-4pm and Sat 15th 10am-2pm featuring a large amount of Art, Design and Media work by Degree and FE students along with work by Weston College prison education programmes.

The Creative Arts Showcase opening night will be held on June 11th 6pm-9pm, with entertainment included from Buskers and DJ’s along with Streetfood, a Photobooth and a Bar. I will be there to meet visitors at the exhibition.

It has been over four years since I last undertook a conceptual photoshoot, having focused on travel documentary film making since 'retiring' from photography, I thought it would be interesting to dip my toe back into the waters of the conceptual photography world for this project. After making the costume, I headed out to the hills with my husband, who acted as a model for me, and created a series of Post Apocalyptic themed images, more will be added to insta in due course.
