21st century troubadour Joe Martin returns to the Hen & Chicken. His sound is deeply rooted in the classic American style, drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences from American folk artists like Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and James Taylor tosongwriters such as Townes Van Zandt, Jason Isbell and Kacey Musgraves, with storytelling and lyric a main focus of Joe’s songwriting.

Join us for a fiddle-fueled, heady harvest of heart-stopping original roots rock & alt-Americana this October.

Sara Milonovich is an alt-country singer, songwriter, and fiddler from upstate NY, who along with guitarist Greg Anderson, delivers a heady harvest of fiddle-driven original Americana roots music that captivates audiences with atmospheric, powerful storytelling; words that paint poignant scenes, and melodies that linger long after the last listen.

They will be performing songs from their most recent album, ‘Northeast’, as well as previewing music from their forthcoming 2026 album.

Every time Marginal Gains joins us at the Hen & Chicken, you fill the dance floor & bring the vibe 🙌

They return this September for another night of energetic 90s and early 00s indie, rock, grunge, and Britpop nostalgia, performing upstairs in The Studio (so more room for a mosh pit ).

+support from Bristol band Neck of the Woods

Tickets are just £6, with all proceeds going to Talk Club - a UK men’s mental health charity helping men improve their mental fitness.

One of the UK’s high rising songwriters Sarah Yeo, took the UK by storm earlier in 2026 with her sell out tour of the Music Of Joan Baez’

She is returning again to perform this material in her own "beautiful voice” (BBC) from Joan's early career from the first recording, 'Harvard Square' and onward through her lengthy journey to date, telling pivotal stories and singing key songs from the Newport Festival days, her years in Nashville, activism around the world, her relationship both on and off the stage with Bob Dylan, and her love of recording just great songs.
