I am inspired by light, water and colour which is reflected in my work. I mainly paint with acrylics sometimes introducing other media such as pastel.

I enjoyed revisiting Robinson Bay yesterday, collecting sea glass and using my lovely Fabriano watercolour pencils for these few sketches.

I occasionally do felting at a craft club and I thought you might like to see the some of the squares I've been making. I prefer using a very free style which feels more like painting and I'm using some beautiful wool which was a gift from a friend. Should I individually frame them or make them into something else?

I've been in the studio again this afternoon working on this painting which is almost finished now. Just the mountains and town to finish. You can see how I have built the painting up working on the sky first, followed by the palm trees.
