Last Sunday we had the privilege of hosting a cultural barter event at St George's Hall (no relation) in Calshot. As part of the new forest creative commissions funded by .

Huge thanks to collaborators Waterside Arts and Waterside Adult Theatre for taking a dive into the unknown and contributing to the exchange. Which included:

🖼 - live illustration by Simon
🎭 - scenes of a theatrical nature performed by Waterside Adult Theatre
🧙‍♀️🌳 - poetry about the new forest
🏴‍☠️ - A sea shanty
🌏 - a blessing for the land, the sky, and the sea.
🪗 - A Polish Folk song
📚 - A free book auction
🧀 - live performative cheese eating
🍵 - 2 types of soup
✍️ - a tote bag decoration station
🤠 - line dancing led by

We are hoping to do many more of these in the future, so watch this space...🎭

What a March it's been! We have had 4 Shows AND a cultural barter this month (More on that later)!

We fulfilled a long time aspiration of performing at the wonderful wardrobe theatre in Bristol! 🪗
Saw the best village sign ever in Horsted Keynes (pronounced Kaynes)! 🪧
And toured to our first pub - The beautiful White Lion in Selling! 🍻🦁

Special thanks to Applause Rural touring for their ongoing support, It's a real joy taking Tales for an Unruly Audience out to rural communities and the feedback we have been getting has been wonderful.

We've got more dates later in the year so watch this space...🎭

That's right! Starting next week 'Tales for an Unruly Audience' is once more heading out on the road 🚙

Enjoy an evening of myth, mirth, and mischief - perfect for those who want permission to misbehave 🎭

25th September: Alton Barnes Coronation Hall, Wiltshire.
4th October: Grittleton Village Hall, Wiltshire
25th October: Mayflower Studios, Southampton
