"Paint the Galaxies" with Iya Duende Art

Techniques in watercolour: a 40-minute introduction on rendering nebulas using watercolour gouache.

You will learn:
- How to choose your medium and colours
- Different techniques for using gouache to build different layers of intensity, colour and softness
- How to add details to render interstellar clouds and constellations

"This is a techniques-focused class to give you tips and tools to enable you to unleash your creativity and paint your own universes. Open to all levels of experience, suitable for adults and children of 8 years and up with an interest in colour and mindfulness. By the end of the class you will have learned various techniques to be able to create beautiful paintings of your own; you will have the beginning of your own piece to take home with you that can then be worked into and completed using your new skills!"

"Manga Drawing" with piggyhammer

Create a manga character from scratch!

For beginner, no experience required.

Han will be providing pencils and A4 plain paper, it will be up to you to bring sketchbooks and other pens if you fancy :)

Workshop #1 // Saturday 2nd // £6

"RuPaul's Flag Race Workshop" with Ciska

A colorful workshop all about celebrating who we are, collectively and individually. It celebrates diversity and inclusivity - with a splash of LGBTQ+ sass! It's about body joy, affirmation, creativity, and expression.

You will be making flags of all different sizes, shapes, and colours...with statements, prints, big words, and powerful messages to dazzle and delight. These flags will be made using paints, pens, fabrics, etc. And then, feel free to show around what you made!

Run by Ciska, this workshop was created in collaboration with Rebel Girls Club, a Sisterhood Community that aims to inspire, and uplift people of all genders.
