Bristol Shanty Shout - 19th & 20th September 2026 The Bristol Shanty Festival has celebrated our beautiful city in songs of the sea for 6 years now.

For 2026 we will have our main stages in Brunel Square and Underfall Yard plus the MV Balmoral and one or two of our favourite pubs.

Now then me hearties, The programme will soon be out and it's gonna be a stunner. Many old friends and some brilliant crews new to Bristol. And don't panic..tickets for the evening will be launched here soon.

TALKING OF TICKETS... We have secured a visit from those Canadian rockstars of the shanty, Pressgang Mutiny. Expect trad through to DJ mixers...

Weigh hey and a bottle of scrumpy my luvvers. 🤪
We've been keeping our heads down for a bit but do not fear, plans for our September shout are well in hand. We have a full programme of crews lined up and are very happy to be back on board the MV Balmoral, as well as our fantastic venues at Underfall Yard Underfall Yard and the Great Eastern Hall.
