Did you attend this year's ukulele festival but can't quite play the ukulele yet? Why not join this beginner class led by BUF founder Danielle from Uke Lift Project?
See below for more details....
Fancy Giving the Ukulele a Go?
Always wanted to learn the ukulele but never quite got around to it? Or perhaps you’ve picked one up before and weren’t sure what to do with it? This friendly six-week beginners’ course is the perfect place to start!
Over six fun and relaxed sessions, we’ll learn the basics together - from holding and tuning your ukulele to playing your first chords, strumming patterns and most importantly, playing some great songs!
There’s absolutely no previous musical experience needed. Whether you can’t tell a chord from a cheese board or you’ve had a little dabble before, you’ll be made very welcome. The aim is to have fun, build confidence and get you playing along with others from the very first session.
No Ukulele? No Problem!
I provide all the ukuleles and music you need for the class, so there’s no need to buy an instrument before you come along. Just bring yourself and a willingness to have a go!
We’ll have the whole of Sundial Kitchen to ourselves, giving us plenty of space to learn, laugh, make a bit of noise and enjoy the sessions without worrying about disturbing anyone else.
