Check out this The BPI guest blog by Laura Lewis-Paul of Saffron Music: Bristol’s Sound: How Regional Scenes Shape Music.

"Regional music scenes have long been crucibles of sound. Bristol’s legacy alone, from Massive Attack and Portishead to the contemporary wave of bass, dub, and jungle , tells a story of music created outside London but defining British culture.

For me personally, Bristol gave me a sense of belonging, a place where music wasn’t just sound, but community. It showed me why artists should be able to stay, create, thrive, and give back to the places that raised them."

🤝Join us next Tuesday 24 February from 1pm to 4pm for a Bristol Nights industry session.

Help define the mission, values and future direction of the Bristol Music Fund in this facilitated working session.

This session is the first, and sets the foundations. Together, we'll define the core identity of the Bristol Music Fund - why we exist, what future we're working towards, and the values and behaviours that will guide us.

We'll explore what makes Bristol's music community so special, capturing the spirit of the scene so it's truly reflected in the decisions ahead.

We look forward to seeing you then!😀

The Night Time Economy Report has just been published! 🙌

The Night Time Economy Report (NTER) is an annual publication designed to strengthen how cities understand, govern, and invest in life after dark.
The report was launched internationally at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland at Nightcap by DLD.

📰 The NTER report brings together original research, international data, investor perspectives, and case studies from cities worldwide. And its key ambition is to better connect the investment community with night-time economies - positioning nightlife as an emerging economic frontier across real estate, hospitality, creative enterprise, mobility, safety technologies, and community-led development.
