People ask whether I find hauntings frightening.

Good heavens, no.

Ghosts are usually quite polite.

It’s the modern horrors that concern me.

Reply-all emails.

Self-checkouts.

People who clap when the plane lands.

Compared with that… spending an evening in the company of Brighton’s ghosts seems positively civilised.

Every ghost has a story… and some of them sing.

Join me, Madame Isolde, a medium who accidentally became one of the spirits I was trying to summon, for an evening of original songs, true Brighton ghost stories and comedy.

Expect haunted theatres, ghost dogs, mysterious sailors, mischievous seagulls… and perhaps a few unexpected visitors from the other side.
