Established since 1995, Dance Art Studio offers an extensive range of classes for children, students and adults. We also run exciting, annual holiday workshops in dance, drama and singing. Our Pre-School Ballet classes are suitable for 3 – 5 year olds, and include a gentle introduction to Ballet through make-believe, mime and fun dances. Children from age 5 can progr
ess through the Ballet grades to major level and can also take up other styles of dance such as Tap, Modern Theatre or Jazz. Our pupils have the option to take a recognised exam in all genres. Beginners of all ages are welcome and we also hold beginners and improvers Adult Tap classes. All staff are passionate about sharing their love of dance with our pupils. We teach and hold exams in the I.S.T.D syllabi which is fully accredited by the Dance Education of Training UK. Our classes are enjoyable, social, stimulating and taught to a high standard in an up-to-date and creative way. We believe that all ages can relate to our inclusive teaching style, whilst appreciating our traditional dance class methods. Mary’s Church Hall, Surrenden Road and Downs Infant and Junior Schools, Ditchling Road. All venues are in the Preston Park and Fiveways areas of Brighton. We are lucky to offer large, light and spacious venues to our pupils, with portable Ballet bars and Harlequin flooring. Mary's Church Hall has free easy parking and is pram accessible. Classes for our younger children have waiting areas for parents, and a kitchen with tea and coffee facilites. All staff are CRB checked and attend regular teaching courses to ensure all pupils receive excellent training, and well balanced, interesting lessons.
