Chernobyl’s ferris wheel. It was supposed to form part of the May Day celebrations but now lies derelict, decaying year on year. I visited Chernobyl at Easter several years ago and captured this iconic structure. There were dodgems close by too.

I’ve sold 3 variations of this piece now all different and all in varying sizes of A5, A4 and A3. It continues to fascinate people so I will likely create more. A piece of history reimagined…

My stall was unmanned yesterday as I was busy hosting and running the workshops at my Creative Workshop Day but still managed to send a couple of pieces off to their new home, one of Upminster Windmill and one of the iconic Chernobyl ferris wheel.
