Tangled Thread Theatre is dedicated to exploring that which is often unheard and unseen. We seek new writing, new stories and new talent, exposing and unravelling the unknown, the misunderstood, and embracing it as creative fuel to invigorate our work and audience imagination. We are committed to empowering new creatives and performers who are at the beginning of their careers. We will give them a

creative platform in which to excel and grow, surrounded by like minded people who want to produce thought-provoking and exciting work. Following this ‘thread’, we have incorporated a simple promise in to the founding principles of Tangled Thread Theatre: for every project we produce we will guarantee that at least 60% of the company, cast and creatives, will have graduated within the last three years. We believe this will create the perfect balance between learning from doing and learning from the experience of others.
