The Rock House is Carousel’s regular Brighton night showcasing brilliant live bands, some who are learning disabled and some who aren't. 🤘⚡
We’re back at the Green Door Store on Monday 11th May for a night of live music you won’t want to miss!
LINEUP:
🎸 Beat Express
Formed in 2002, Carousel’s first band are true trailblazers for ‘learning disabled music’ touring the UK and Europe performing at events from school graduations to rock festivals. While over time their sound has shifted from ‘pop’ rock to ‘powertrio punk’ rock, Andrew Jones (drums), Lee Hubbard ) bass guitar/ lead vocals and Ryan O’Donovan (guitar/ backing vocals) still write effortless classic tracks equally at home in a grungy rock club as a big dance hall.
Carousel is supporting Beat Express to manage as an independent band alongside touring and new music.
🎸 GUEST BAND - Ethereal UK
Award-winning singer-songwriter Ethereal UK delivers an otherworldly sound, merging cinematic pop, Thai and English original music with her signature haunting head voice.
🎸Fuzz Bomb Flash Band
A Brighton rock/pop band formed in 2012, known for originals inspired by everyday life plus covers of artists like Michael Jackson and Billy Joel. A regular Rock House favourite full of energy and improvisation.
🎸GUEST BAND - Murphy’s Medicine
Murphy’s Medicine are an indie pop band from Brighton, formed by members of local acts including Fruity Water, Octopuses, and Seadog.
The five-piece, featuring dual female vocalists Amy Charlton and Gem D'Souza, blend vocal harmonies, melodic guitar work and catchy songwriting.
