Brighton Welsh Male Voice Choir We love to sing! A unique group of men that have been sharing our passion for singing four part harmony for over 40 years. Just a love for singing will do!

We are always looking for new members, absolutely no Welsh or singing experience needed! "LET ALL MEN SING"
We sing at weddings, funerals, evening dinners, charity events and organised concerts. We are also a very social group of men who like nothing more than a couple of drinks after our weekly rehearsals and events. Currently looking for members to boost our 25 strong choir, you would be most we

lcome. The majority of our songs are sung in English. There is no need to speak Welsh - we learn the words phonetically. There is no need to read music, or have an audition! "WE'LL KEEP A WELCOME"
We rehearse every Monday evening from 7 pm until 9 pm in the Hounsom Memorial Church Hall, Neville Avenue, Hove BN3 7NG. Now is the ideal time to join the choir, a warm welcome awaits you.

We had an absolute treat at our rehearsal this week! We were joined by Jozik Kotz, a spectacular singer who trained with Bryn Terfel. He led us through some fascinating exercises, and had us thinking about the mechanics on how we make sound. Highly recommend him to any other choirs, great fun!

It was our AGM this week. A great time to look back at all the excitement of the last year and talk through the exciting plans especially around our 50th in 2027!

We were able to celebrate some of our wonderful members, George and Brian who have been singing with us more almost 100 years between them. Amazing men who bring a smile to every rehearsal.

We were also able to say a big thank you to our chair Bernard who has been a member since 1986, and led the choir for the vast majority of that time. Our biggest surprise was his portrait from the fabulous John McBrien Ferring. Bernard has put his heart and soul into BWMVC over the years, so it’s the least we could do!
