FAT Cabaret

FAT Cabaret A fat positive show celebrating fat bodies, putting fat people centre stage in a safe and supportive We are making space to showcase the art of fat performers.

FAT Cabaret is a fat positive live performance night created by producer Rosie Blackwell-Sutton (Kingdom) and performer Mathilda Gregory (How to be Fat) in Brighton. We want to celebrate fat bodies, and how beautiful, powerful and all-round amazing they can be. FAT Cabaret has been created by Rosie Blackwell-Sutton (producer of sell-out drag king cabaret KINGDOM and King of the Fringe) and Mathild

a Gregory (writer and performer of the critically acclaimed one-woman show How To Be Fat). Both of us are fat and both of us would like to see more fat bodies represented on stage. Our show will be especially welcoming to fat audience members creating a space where they can feel comfortable watching a cabaret show. Fat people rarely see themselves represented in cabaret and some fat people avoid live entertainment with legitimate concerns about fatphobic material being performed.
