Artista The venue is open from 7pm to 2am Tuesday to Saturday and is also available to hire for private functions when we are closed.

We have Gigs & Events on most evenings. A place for anyone interested in events, workshops and exhibitions held at or supported by Artista Cafe & Gallery in Brighton & Hove. Artista holds many regular events such as music performances, jam sessions, open mics, comedy nights, spoken word events, freestyle sessions, burlesque nights, belly dancing, magic and more! As well as being a photo studio for

hire, event space for hire and gallery space for hire. All artists and art enthusiasts are welcome at Artista and we hold monthly artists meetups where we encourage creative spontaneity in any form to try and brihg the wider community orf artist and art enthusiasts together. Artista is an intimate venue where the lines are blurred between performers and audience and where audience participation is always welcome and encouraged. Jazz Jam Night at Artista Sunday 19 July, 6pm to 9pm

Artista hosts a special jazz jam featuring Terry Seabrook and the Brighton Jazz All Stars, bringing top‑tier musicianship and a welcoming atmosphere to the heart of Brighton. Musicians and singers are invited to step in, join the session and explore standards, grooves and spontaneous moments with some of the city’s finest players.

If you’re not performing, come down to enjoy an evening of live jazz, great energy and the thrill of real‑time improvisation. It’s the perfect early‑evening hang for anyone who loves music.
