You know what to do, East Slope Bar is the birthplace and home of Sussex Bass Society.

East Slope has been the hub for Sussex students for almost 4 decades and has hosted names such as The Who, Fatboy Slim and Brian May. It has been an integral part of student experience and without it the heart of the university and its legacy will be lost!

SUSSEX BASS SOCIETY UPDATE: So some of you may have noticed that we have been rather quiet recently. The society has not been renewed this term, and so we are looking for new students to run SBS. If there are any Sussex students who are interested in taking over and running the society, we would be all for it. In the past we have run music events at East Slope Bar, The Globe and Sticky Mike's Frog Bar, and organised socials for like minded students to meet. We have also run production and DJ workshops. If anyone is interested, please get in touch with us, and we'll advise on next steps. Please be aware that running the society requires a lot of time and dedication, so you need to be serious about your music and continuing the name of SBS!
