We've spent the summer working on a new system for the club that will change a lot about the snooker tournaments that we run.

Those of you who play chess or play in Dan Pickering's fantastic UK Pool Club events will know about ELO! Its a rating system that is based on your results.

We looked at these and thought this would be great if we could apply it to our snooker events.

Hi everyone,

We've spent the last few weeks working on a new system for the club that will change a lot about the snooker tournaments that we run. Those of you who play chess or play in Dan Pickering's fantastic UK Pool Club events will know about ELO! Its a rating system that is based on your results. We looked at these and thought this would be great if we could apply it to our snooker events.

Anyway, we made a quick video explaining it all.

Please make note of what table you are on and be ready at that table for 10am!

Tables 21-24 refer to the 4 Rassons that we have.

I won't be using the tablets so whoever WINS the match please make sure to come and tell me the score straight away so we can keep things moving.

If you have a BYE please arrive for 10.45am.
