Positivising - a word I made up meaning to make negativity positive. Or as I like to call it never-tivity. Have a great weekend yeah.

Alright, Boastheads, we’ve got some exciting news for you. It’s only bloomin’ our next Boast in Show announcement!!! 🎉

We’re flippin’ pleased as punch to let you know that the next Boast in Show at the legendary Brighton Komedia on 2nd December will be a Second Chance Showdown special!!! 🔥

We’ve gathered some of the best boasters we’ve seen over the past two years and we’re inviting them back for a second bite of the cherry. These are boast legends who brought incredible levels of creativity and originality to Boast in Show, but ultimately didn’t win.

Here at Boast in Show, we want to reward the ingenuity they brought to the show with this no holds barred explosion of positivity. We can’t wait to see them face off again and knock ten shades of self esteem into one another at the only show where anything goes, apart from hurting each other’s feelings. 😂

🎤✨ Boast in Show is a reverse roast battle comedy night where comedians get creative to be kind 💕

Unlike traditional roast battles, Boast in Show contestants face off using elaborate compliments, grand gestures, and creative “boasts” to celebrate their opponent. From heartfelt poems and original songs 🎶 to extravagant gifts 🎁 we’ve even had a national day officially registered in a contestant’s name! 🏆📅

🎭 Boast in Show is not just a comedy night, it’s an entire production where each show is themed and comedians push their creativity to new heights, exploring ideas they wouldn’t normally get to try in a standard stand-up set.

❤️ Boast in Show leaves audiences feeling genuinely uplifted and keen to return. With many likening the show to Taskmaster and Vic and Bob 👇

⭐ Audience Reviews

“Amazing night - such a fun and lovely twist on a roast battle, and a great idea for a comedy night. Super competitive, but also heartwarming and hilarious. What’s not to like?!”

It’s the only show where anything goes apart from hurting each other’s feelings! ❤️😂🎉

A lot of people have said that no one motivates people like Carl Carzana THE Comedian and that’s largely because he has no formal training as a coach. Also he seems confused about what the phrase ‘leave nothing on the pitch’ means. It’s as though he thinks it means literally don’t leave anything on the pitch. Still talented guy.

A quick word from our Ermal C. Fraze Birthday Bash special at Komedia Brighton WINNER!

He was absolutely made up with his prize of a set of 8 DVD… cases and a Tinnie of b**r. Quite the haul. Congrats Bennet.

What a fantastic night last night’s Boast in Show Ermal C. Fraze Birthday Bash Special at the fantastic Brighton Komedia was! 🎉

If you missed it, pardon my language, but you fricked up! You fricked up big time. 😱

All the acts put so much time and effort into their boasts and grand gestures. We had a hilarious appraisal for top bloke Piran A***s not mention pasta Piran A tattoo of Charlotte Madden The Rachels Awards for Rachel Quinn Some unhinged yet beautiful singing for David Ingram . 🎤

We had some of the best musical boasting we’ve ever seen at the show from our brilliant winner 𝐵𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒𝓉 𝒦𝒶𝓋𝒶𝓃𝒶𝑔𝒽 His rendition of You Judge Me Up was one for the ages! 🏆🎶

And we had a special guest appearance from Tinnie, the disgraced mascot Carl Carzana THE Comedian met during his brief stint working at a b**r themed theme park named ‘Lager Ville’. 🍺

Our judges were on top form as well. Joint head judge and producer Dawn Williams 🍄 was Fran Longstaff and Christian Jégard

Alright, Boastheads, gather round! We’ve got a bit of an update for you. 📣

Unfortunately, Paul F Taylor has had to pull out of the Ermal C. Fraze Birthday Bash Special of Boast in Show at the amazing Brighton Komedia on 16th September.

However, the good news is... we’ve got the incredible Christian Jegard joining us to take up judging duties!!! 🎉🔥

Christian is one of our absolute favourites at Boast in Show. He is a comedian, actor and writer who began doing stand up and making sketches in 2019. Since then, he has appeared on BBC Three, BBC Radio 4 Extra and NextUp Comedy. He has written and produced material for The Beano, Angel Comedy Club and Comedy Crowd.
