Back in March we ran our "Creative Acts of Joyful Protest" at Project Female's important PROJECT PROTECT event. We explored female safety and created banners with positive messages. We were inspired by the idea that aliens have come to have earth and have much to teach us about how to be safe. I worked with an intelligent curious group who made me laugh and made me think. Thanks all and lovely to be part of an important evening

Such a joy to supervise three of TiPP and The University of Manchester 's fantastic drama students on a three day drama residency at HMP Buckley Hall. Delivered in partnership with Change Grow Live.Joyful creativity and a really meaningful experience for all involved.

Wonderful day on 30th September, creating Joyful Acts of Cryptic Protest for the Ageing Well Festival. Working with Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove the free, one-day workshop at Brighton Unitarian Church was a space to dream up bold, beautiful protest banners—then take them joyfully to the streets in a playful act of togetherness. "When I got home I looked in the mirror and was surprised to find i looked different - relaxed and happy, and that feeling lasted for several days - how valuable was that!"

"Sharing our feelings and thoughts about ageing with people in the same age bracket was confidence-boosting and challenged the sense of isolation we can sometimes feel. Definitely a joyful day!"

📣 small performance adventures presents... Cryptic Protest! 🧩🎭
How in a polarised world can we make sure that we are both heard and can hear others? Perhaps through "cryptic protest" - a metaphorical and sometimes ridiculous approach that we explored in a workshop in Anita's Room at Brighton Dome, through play, performance, and a little chaos. We made banners!

This beautiful graphic by captures the energy, questions, and contradictions that bubbled up in the room. Big thanks to all who joined us. More to come. and do get in touch if you would like to know more.

Hey Everyone, we are doing some lovely stuff at Brighton Dome.
Come and play if you are in recovery and would like some April Fool's Fooling and a chance to be on Radio 4. with Kate Lodge and Leon Clowes - details below
We are also running some other workshops also at the Dome that week. On the afternoon of Thursday 3rd April, a chance to be part of a participatory performance about potatoes. On Friday 4th April its all about cryptic protest. More info to follow, or comment below!
