What your support makes possible:

• 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 — banner making that helps people hear and be heard in polarised times 🪧

• 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 — gentle, creative conversations about the end of life 📖

• And the wider work: creativity that brings connection, dignity and joy to people affected by life.

Help us reach £9000.

One week to go!

Some of you saw us on Brighton seafront recently with our banner, getting ready for our walk to Hope Gap.

We’re raising £9,000 to support two new creative projects and to keep doing the work that brings people together through creativity — helping us think more, feel more and laugh more.

𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟭 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀... 𝗳𝗼𝗿 '𝙁𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙜𝙤 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚'

We are one Artistic Director Kate Lodge (full of ideas and brandishing a compass 🧭), three trustees (getting fully into character), and Martha the dog (she's in charge 🐾) .

Since 2018, small performance adventures has created performances, films and workshops with people facing some significant challenges — what we call 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 ✨.

This walk for hope will help keep that work going, especially as funding is getting harder and harder to secure.

If you’d like to cheer us on, please like, comment and share. And if you can donate we would be very grateful and we thank all those who have done already ❤️:

Spent the week at HMP Buckley Hall with TiPP as part of Changing Stories working with men engaging with Change Grow Live
We brought hats with us and told stories, remembered people and challenged our perspectives. "made me reconnect with my childhood" "joy and community" "connection, fun and learning"
A very dynamic group! (Beautiful chaos)

Back in March we ran our "Creative Acts of Joyful Protest" at Project Female's important PROJECT PROTECT event. We explored female safety and created banners with positive messages. We were inspired by the idea that aliens have come to have earth and have much to teach us about how to be safe. I worked with an intelligent curious group who made me laugh and made me think. Thanks all and lovely to be part of an important evening

On April's fool day 2025, we ran a workshop looking at fallibility, foolishness and shame to prepare us for Alcoholic Tarot. Here is the programme he made. On Radio 4 at 8.15 this evening.
