Thank you to our wonderful cast and very appreciative audience, for a splendid concert last night, despite the strong winds blasting across the stage!!

Simon Gray Presents... Opera at Sunset was a magical event at Eastbourne Bandstand - we think you'll agree that all the soloists were in great voice, and as an ensemble, they sounded terrific!

Simon Gray Presents hopes to be returning there next year.

Think Carry On, Hi-de-Hi, Victoria Wood, a splash of Round the Horne, and all the glorious naughtiness of Britain's golden age of variety.

We're also delighted to announce that your special guest hosts will be Pearl Dean – the "most heterosexual couple in showbiz" – keeping everything fabulously camp while Maestro Simon Gray desperately attempts to maintain a semblance of order.

Performed by a cast of over 30 exceptional singers with professional credits including Glyndebourne, The Royal Opera, English National Opera, Opera Holland Park and more, this spectacular concert features arias, duets, ensembles and choruses from some of the world's most beloved operas, alongside a selection of hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

Seeing Brighton Open Air Theatre from above really puts the scale of the evening into perspective. A packed audience, a spectacular Sussex sunset, and an atmosphere we'll never forget.
