Let’s do a competition and give away this Soy Light! 💡🐟
To bring a bit of fun, light and clever design into a world that needs some positivity right now, I’m giving away one of these brilliant Soy Lights from Heliograf.
Inspired by those iconic little single-use soy sauce fish, Light Soy takes something that has become a symbol of throwaway plastic and turns it into something joyful, useful and designed to last.
And there’s a really clever story behind it. The shade is made using 75% recycled ocean-bound plastic, waste collected in areas where it is at risk of making its way into our oceans. For every Light Soy shipped, Heliograf also funds the cleanup of another 2kg of plastic.
Since launching Light Soy, they’ve helped recover more than 34 tonnes of plastic from the environment. That’s the equivalent of 34 million of those little soy fish.
A little fish making a surprisingly big point about what good design can do. 🐟💡
