🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
LISA MARIE is a Brighton-based DJ, promoter, and psychotherapist known for delivering driving, high-impact house sets. Her sound is functional, fierce, and deeply physical, powered by rolling basslines, long blends, and relentless grooves that lock rooms into motion. High-energy selections, emotional lifts, and moments of collective release create sets that feel both raw and euphoric. Her selections blend jackin’, bass, indie, deep and minimal house with soulful pressure, and euphoric builds into relentless, body-driven grooves.
Her background as a performance artist, theatre director, and dramatherapist shapes a uniquely embodied approach to DJing. Dancefloor psychology, crowd awareness, and emotional flow sit at the heart of her style and values, creating spaces that feel safe, inclusive, and alive.
With over 35 years immersed in dance culture as a raver, promoter, and DJ, LISA MARIE’s musical identity reflects the spirit of the late ‘80s free party movement, freedom, diversity, and unity channelled through a modern house music lens.
As co-founder of 4ToTheFloor, Brighton’s underground house collective, she has helped build a community rooted in love, inclusivity, and dancefloor integrity, delivering consistently sold-out events with a strong grassroots ethos.
Her sets have featured at festivals including Shambala Festival and Boomtown Fair, while sharing line-ups with artists including BUSHWACKA! and Grant Nelson. She has also promoted Angelo Ferreri for Brighton Music Conference, raising funds for Last Night A DJ Saved My Life.
Following the promotion of Earth n Days’ UK debut and supporting Inner City, LISA MARIE continues to expand her reach through radio shows on D3EP Radio, Data Transmission and 1BTN, connecting dancefloor culture with a wider underground audience.
Promoter first and a psychotherapist by trade, LISA MARIE will speak openly about wellbeing within electronic music culture. She will share her experience of promotion, managing anxiety within the music industry, and navigating the realities of stepping into DJing later in life whilst simultaneously facing PTSD and the sudden onset of menopause.
Bringing both professional expertise and lived experience, she offers practical and compassionate insights into confidence, resilience, and sustaining wellbeing while building a life in music.
