Hello everyone! We are very proud to announce that in 12 days time a special event is happening at the Ironworks Studios Brighton. My colleague Lea Sep and I were working really hard to get together, organise and celebrate the last day of women's history month in style, with a double bill event!

SheWolves & Unisex are going to be performed twice on Sunday, March 31st, on Ēostre Day (that's right Ēostre, not Easter, but you will find out more about it soon).

We've got everything for you; dance, history, stand up, live music! If I were you, I would be there 😉
This interview, filmed and edited by Latest TV, will give you a better insight into what to expect from the event. Special thanks to Yael Breuer.

On Friday and Saturday with Hogfish, “marvelously dramatic dancer” (New York Times) Laura Careless tells stories of forgotten female rulers of England before Elizabeth I. The book and BBC series by historian Helen Castor has been adapted for the stage as a tour de force solo performance by Laura Careless. Through dance, theatre, song and animated projections, thrilling yet unfamiliar episodes from medieval and early Tudor history are brought to life. In the medieval world, power was inescapably male. Yet despite all the obstacles that stood in their way, a handful of extraordinary women did attempt to rule. When they pursued their power like kings, they were vilified as she-wolves.

“(Laura Careless is) mesmerizing – she deservedly owns the stage.” -NY Post
