DON'T BE FOOLED! There's a change of date for April's Brighton Telltales' monthly meet-up. This time, we'll be indulging our passion for stories on the second Wednesday of the month (8th April), not the first Wednesday.
This allows all you comedy addicts to laugh yourself stupid on April Fool's Day and enjoy the brilliant performers celebrating Live Comedy Day at The Yellow Book Brighton that evening. More details to follow...

Sweet Venues Brighton

SweetFest 2026 is calling… 🎭✨

Applications are now open for performers, creatives, and storytellers ready to take the stage.

This years festival runs from the 13th to the 31st of May!

We welcome applications from all genres, and are particularly interested in work that falls into theatre – be that physical theatre & dance, children’s theatre, spoken word, musicals, new-writing or community work.

We also love to programme cabaret, alternative comedy, and spoken word, with room on our stage for shows from seasoned professionals and brand new talents - we want to encourage connection and support, from our team, from our performers, and from our amazing audience community!
