Everyday Saints graced us with their performance last Friday evening at WaterBear The Venue, Brighton, and it was a strong statement of intent.

Their set featured brand new material supporting their move into an electronic act direction, delivered with confidence and clarity. From the music to the visual presentation, their costumes and makeup exceeded expectations and added real depth to the performance.

There’s a distinct atmosphere to what they do. The mood, the aesthetic and the sound combine to create something genuinely different, and that’s what makes them stand out. They are entertainers in the truest sense, and they were very good.

We thank Everyday Saints for taking part in West Pier Presents... Rising event, and wish them every success on their journey ahead. They are certainly an act worth watching.

Kammin is seriously hot property.

At 20 years old, he’s already moving across genres with ease, from guitar-led tracks to fully charged electronic drum and bass. A true multi-instrumentalist at heart, and only just getting started.

Bringing two guest vocalists with him, he delivered a powerful 30-minute set that completely held the room. The room was with him the whole way, and through the Funktion One system it sounded huge. An absolute pleasure to experience. There’s real drive there, real ambition, and you can feel that this is just the beginning.

Big thanks to Kammin and the whole crew for coming down last Friday evening at WaterBear The Venue and for supporting West Pier Presents Rising.

Make sure you’re following, come and watch his journey unfold and catch him at future shows. You will not be disappointed.

Static Ella once again proved the depth of her talent, both musically and in her presence on stage last Friday evening at our 'Rising' event in Brighton on 20th March.

Her atmospheric, original and beautifully restrained electronic compositions draw you in quietly, then stay with you. There’s something effortless about the way she performs. It feels honest, immersive and completely her own. Music that genuinely makes you feel something.

We’re incredibly grateful to Static Ella for playing the night in support of Mind in Brighton and Hove, and for backing West Pier Presents... Rising. That generosity and belief in our platform means a lot. :-)

What a night we had last Friday evening at WaterBear The Venue on Brighton seafront.

Huge thank you to Static Ella, Kammin and Everyday Saints for bringing such strong performances and real presence to the stage. The talent was undeniable, the crowd was locked in, and the energy in the room felt special from start to finish.

Great turnout, great vibe and real support for grassroots artists pushing their careers forward. This is exactly what Rising is about.

West Pier Presents Rising is a platform for new and unrivalled talent. We work closely with Brighton’s music colleges and the wider local community to discover and showcase the very best emerging artists. That is why our shows are carefully curated and consistently represent the strongest new talent in the city.

Rising is about Brighton. It is about giving young, gifted artists a serious platform and the chance to begin their journey at an industry standard level, as it should be.

We’re proud to back emerging talent and provide the space they deserve.

In an industry long challenged by mental health issues, it only felt right for us to support for our upcoming electronic themed gig on Friday the 20th March at Waterbear ‘The Venue’ for West Pier Presents… ‘Rising’.

Mind in Brighton and Hove is a local independent charity working to promote good mental health in our city and across Sussex. They do this by empowering anyone experiencing a mental health issue to live a full life and play a full part in society. This includes providing advice and information, offering advocacy services, and delivering training to support wellbeing, increase awareness and build resilience in the workplace.

Every penny of profit from our ‘Rising’ events is being donated to Mind in Brighton and Hove, helping fund vital mental health services in our city and across Sussex.

Static Ella ([email protected]) brings immersive electronic pop straight from her Brighton attic studio. Fully independent and entirely self produced, her atmospheric sound has already picked up support from BBC Introducing and appearances at The Great Escape Festival.

Kammin (IG@kamminjack) is one of Brighton’s most intriguing young artists. At just 20 he blends deep musical roots in jazz, blues and rock with a growing focus on electronic production. His live set unfolds as a journey, beginning stripped back before building into a fully electronic finale.

Everyday Saints (IG@everydaysaintss) are unveiling something completely new. After six months reinventing their sound under the mentorship of Kieron Pepper (Sleeper, Radiophonic Workshop, former Prodigy live drummer), they arrive with a brand new synth driven direction. This show will be the very first time anyone hears the new Everyday Saints live.

Three very talented emerging electronic acts on a Funktion One sound system plus Codesouth DJ Bloodl3tter spinning house and liquid dnb to set the mood and finish off the night.

Everyday Saints, hailing from Brighton, are an alternative pop project exploring themes of occultism, old Hollywood glam, love, loss, and the darker side of showbiz.

After years of musical collaboration in different forms, the band has spent the last six months completely reinventing themselves, writing and producing new synth driven material under the mentorship of Kieron Pepper (Sleeper, Radiophonic Workshop, former Prodigy live drummer).

This show will be the first time anyone has heard the new Everyday Saints. The music they have created over the past six months has never been released or performed live before. What happens on the stage will be simply brilliant!

The sound in this post captures the mood, but the real reveal happens on the night.

Kammin is one of those young artists who already sounds like he’s lived inside music for years. At just 20, and currently studying music in Brighton, he carries a musical depth that feels far beyond his age.

He began early, starting on drums at four and picking up guitar at seven, and that foundation shows. Jazz, blues and rock run through his musical DNA, not in an obvious or nostalgic way, but in the way he understands groove, dynamics and space. There is an instinctive musicality to what he does, the kind that comes from growing up immersed in sound rather than simply studying it.

What makes Kammin particularly compelling is his refusal to stay in one place. He moves fluidly across genres, drawing from traditional influences while exploring more experimental territory. In recent years his focus has shifted increasingly towards electronic music and production, with the studio becoming a creative instrument in its own right.

His live set is designed as a journey, evolving in sound and energy as it unfolds. It begins in its most stripped back form, with Kammin on guitar alongside a live drummer, drawing on his roots, as mentioned in jazz, blues and rock. As the performance progresses, guest vocalists join the stage, adding new textures and emotional layers.

The sound gradually expands as Kammin shifts seamlessly between instruments and production elements, building momentum towards a fully electronic immersive finale. It is a performance that reflects where he is creatively right now, blending musicianship, production and atmosphere into a single evolving experience. Expect BPM’s from 110 to 160.

Static Ella is a New Zealand born songwriter and producer based in Brighton, creating immersive electronic pop from her attic studio overlooking the city. Fully independent, she writes and produces every detail herself, shaping a sound that feels both intimate and powerful.

Her self-produced single On My Mind received support from BBC Introducing Sussex and Surrey in 2025, and that same year she brought her new live set to The Great Escape Festival, alongside a growing run of standout shows across Brighton’s grassroots scene including Alphabet just last week.

Inspired by Billie Eilish, Imogen Heap and the darker edge of Massive Attack, her music blends atmospheric electronics with sharp pop hooks. Expect depth, tension and moments that really pull you in.
