It might be raining outside but I’m feeling the carnival spirit inside, are you guys having Pancakes tonight?🥞 or maybe you're enjoying some King Cake? I was doing some reading about Mardi Gras and it’s surrounding celebrations, so many things I never knew! On Saturday, I had the pleasure of joining these guys as they brought the 🌿🌴 jungle 🐯🦁🦓🐆 to Berkshire in style, to celebrate this gorgeous little girl and her very first birthday🥳. It was so great to see all the adults joining in the fun and matching their face painting to their outfits. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

I hope that you all enjoyed your Christmas break and that you created many happy moments with friends and family.
Now January is upon us, we can look towards 2020 and set goals and aspirations for the future.

Did you make any resolutions for 2020? Let me know what they are in the comments below.

Looking back over the last year, I have made many of my own fond memories and stories from events out and about in Hampshire and beyond.

I have attended fairy and unicorn birthday parties, seen some amazing birthday cakes, attended many summer events, where I painted some ladies as dogs and many children as bee’s, added glitter and sparkle to weddings and enjoyed many other joyful mirror moments.

I’ve also enjoyed seeing you all at my stand on all those big yearly celebrations, one of the highlights for me being Halloween where you all let your imaginations run wild with gruesome and scary characters to match your amazing costumes.

I’m looking forward to another happy, paint-filled year ahead, I can’t wait to see all your smiling faces in 2020, Kareen.

The next stop in my whirlwind tour of Hampshire was Portsmouth at the Naval Base where I worked alongside the very talented Snazzy Roo Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos Jo Griffiths and Moxie's Magical Faces The weather wasn't on our side in the morning but it soon cleared made way for a lovely sunny day full of crafts, rides, music and of course fantastic FACES!! We have been enjoying spreading joy at our events in and around Hampshire this month. We had the most amazing day at the 62nd annual Curdridge Country Show there was glorious weather and we met some absolutely lovely people. Thank you to everyone who came by our stand to become their favorite character or animal and an extra shout out to all the adults who rocked their face painting!! We hope you all enjoyed your Barn Dance?
