News from our friends...

Take time away from the pace of everyday life with Ultimate Chill, an intimate concert celebrating the piano music of Ludovico Einaudi. Performed by acclaimed pianist Richard Pinel, this beautifully curated programme features many of Einaudi's most loved works, including Le Onde, Nuvole Bianche, Divenire, Experience and Una Mattina.

Presented by L'Inviti in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary's Church, Kemptown, this candlelit concert places musical excellence at the centre of the experience. Rather than relying on spectacle, Ultimate Chill allows audiences to enjoy Einaudi's music performed with the artistry, sensitivity and depth it deserves.

The performance lasts approximately one hour without an interval, making it the perfect way to begin or end an evening in Brighton.
Performances take place at 6pm and 8pm on Saturday 17 October.
Tickets from £22.

We had to find an alternative venue for our June concert and were very grateful to St Laurence Church, Falmer for allowing us to use the church and its Yamaha piano. Most people found their way there with little problem and we had a good audience of around 30 people. Our performers, Angela Goodall, Rod Edmunds, Zhanna Kemp, Sarah Luong and Caroline Goodwin, all performed beautifully. Particular thanks go to Caroline, who arriving at Brighton on the London train, found herself corralled with protesters on the station platform and had to persuade the police to let her out! And she then went on to sing quite calmly - what a pro!

We now have a pause for the summer and will resume in September.
