Sussex Musicians' Club We are a community of classical music lovers, both performers and listeners We are a community of classical music lovers, both performers and listeners.

Our series of informal musical evenings features artists drawn from our membership, and runs from September to June. The repertoire ranges from early music right up to the present day, combining the familiar with items less often performed. Our concerts are at Brighton Unitarian Church, New Road, Brighton BN1 1UF, on Saturdays at 7.30 pm.

Classical at Brighton Festival 60

From the internationally acclaimed conductor Antonio Pappano to the opera stars of tomorrow, world-class artists take to the Concert Hall, while prize-winning ensembles return to the Studio Theatre for our much-loved Lunchtimes series.

The season includes beloved works by Beethoven, Mozart & Tchaikovsky, the extraordinary sound of 200 musicians performing Bach, and the powerful drama of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10. Alongside these masterpieces, enjoy an evening of music and Shakespearean spoken word with Golden Globe award-winning actress Miranda Richardson, leading soprano Sophie Bevan and Grammy award-winning pianist Christopher Glynn.
