At last! I get to play a mischievous Genie!! Sarah ###

Brighton Shakespeare Company are back for the Brighton Fringe! Shakespeare’s Lost is a new comedy written by Brighton Fringe award winner, Mark Brailsford, about two men marooned on a deserted island with a recalcitrant genie who grants them three wishes, one of which is the wishing up of Shakespeare’s Juliet! With elements from twelve of Shakespeare’s plays, the comic nature of the premise twists and the farce darkens as the consequences of the arrival on the island of Juliet have the men at each other’s throats. With her warped take on the works of the Bard, the capricious Genie torments the mere mortals with her eccentric interpretations of the canon, with comi-tragic consequences!

15th-17th & 22nd-24th May 9pm Lantern Theatre Brighton Tickets https://www.brightonfringe.org/events/shakespeares-lost/

Reviews of previous Brighton Shakespeare Company Productions include:
“A production of real distinction, one of the best I’ve seen outside the Globe and RSC” Sussex Playwrights

"A great rollicking fun production with lots of cheeky gags and blink and you'll miss it moments" Sussex Playwrights
