We’re really excited to announce that we’re bringing the Whispering Wood to Hailsham Festival!

Join Flock Theatre Makers for Once Upon a Whispering Wood — an intimate, immersive storytelling adventure perfect for children aged 2–7 and their families.

Step into a magical world where trees tell tall tales, curious characters await, and secrets are waiting to be discovered. With puppetry, music and immersive design, audiences get to become part of the story and help bring the Whispering Wood to life.

A joyful tale of belonging, friendship and hope, filled with wonder, music and the rustle and chatter of leaves and branches.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see There’s a Tiger in the Garden at Polka Theatre this summer.

It’s been such a joy to step back into Nora’s grandma’s garden and share this story with so many wonderful families.

Thank you for laughing with us, searching for the tiger, meeting our grumpy polar bear and bringing your imaginations into the garden. We’ve loved hearing your thoughts, seeing your reactions and sharing these moments with you.

And a huge thank you to the brilliant team at Polka Theatre and helping us bring the show to life once again.

We also want to say a huge thank you to our brilliant cast and creative team, who have poured so much care, energy and imagination into this production. It wouldn’t be the show it is without you.

Whether you discovered There’s a Tiger in the Garden for the first time or joined us again, thank you for being part of the adventure.

We’ll be taking lots of special memories from this run with us — and we hope to see you at another Flock adventure very soon.

We’ve loved hearing what audiences have had to say about There’s a Tiger in the Garden.

It’s been wonderful to see families discovering Nora’s adventure together and to hear how much audiences have enjoyed stepping into her grandma’s extraordinary garden — from meeting the grumpy polar bear to searching for the tiger hiding amongst the flowers.

Have you been to see There's A Tiger In The Garden as part of our run at Polka Theatre this summer? If so we'd love to know which bits put a smile on your face.

After a full weekend of sold out shows we're ready to have a cup of grandmas hot tea and a little rest. But we're back first thing on Tuesday.

Until then, keep your eyes peeled for the Tiger.

We are having such a blast performing this beautiful show at Polka Theatre

It's Freya Wynn-Jones' first week in role (having tagged in for the wonderful Clarke Joseph-edwards) and she is loving being back in polar bear body (and tiger feet).

Shows are selling really well so if you were hoping to come, don't leave it too late to book for you and your families. You won't regret making the trip to this wonderful theatre.
