Mon 7th July, 4-6pm: Long Covid Stars.
Check out original artworks from inspiring young people living with Long Covid at this free exhibition, which aims to raise awareness and de-stigmatise the condition.

Sun 13th July from 7pm :
Friends of the Coven Choir present Voices For The Voiceless, a powerful night of live music and compassion, bringing together a diverse line-up of artists united by one cause: to raise vital funds and awareness for International Animal Rescue.

Sat 26th July, 11am-4pm: Our friends at the Centre for Ecotherapy are taking part in the Stanmer Organics open day on 26th July at Stanmer Park. *A Gathering of Witches* is Brighton’s most magical poetry, spoken word, and music event. This time around, we will be honouring the **Summer Solstice**—the peak of the sun’s light, and the longest day of the year. Expect enchanting performances from Brighton’s talented artist community, laughter, joy, community, and celebration!

pic 5: The summer solstice on 21st June coincides with midsummer celebrations of all kinds and we love getting together as a choir to mark the occasion! This is us last year during a very rainy summer sunset 🌧️

MEET THE COVEN CHOIR! Introducing our Amelia!

“I find so much magic in what happens when people come together as a group, which is why I adore Coven Choir, as together we’re inventive, playful, and raise each other up. It’s sparked a love of ritual as something that helps build a strong container for powerful expression and intention-setting.

When I’m not at choir I’m finding the magic in my other passions. These include my work in mental health and connection-building projects like and , and finding moments of ecstatic experience and inspiration in music, art, play, and many books about women going feral.

I love Beltane until the Summer Solstice for its sense of renewal and the world re-emerging. For me it’s a vibrant time of energy and excitement when I’m dreaming up new projects while enjoying the wildflowers, long sunny evenings, and baby seagulls outside my window.

A favourite witchy song of mine is PJ Harvey’s Sheela-Na-Gig as it’s all about the struggle for women’s sovereignty over their bodies, depicted through some fantastic medieval iconography (google Sheela-Na-Gig for some NSFW stone carvings!)”
