Unfortunately these sessions have been cancelled due to insufficient numbers. Apologies to those who wanted to attend - I just can't justify booking the space.

Hi all,

Thinking of running 2 sessions where you can use your little one's foot or hand print to make a Christmas card design (which you can then photograph and have printed into real Christmas cards to send out!)

The sessions would run at St Mary's Community Centre in Mirfield on Tuesday 19th of November:
~10am - 10:45am
and
~10:50am - 11:35am

£6 including all materials.

Happy Halloween! 👻🦇🎃This time last year we had loads of frightful fun - making 'bumpkin' prints, and hand print ghosts and spiders and lots of spooky sensory play. Apologies I wasn't able to offer a Halloween session this year - I got married on Saturday so we've been away on our family Minimoon 🎩💍but I hope to organise some Christmas-themed sessions in the near future 🎅🎄 Hope you are all well 😊 x

Me and my 2 little Mini Makers are excited to take part in the Mirfield Arts Festival Carnival Parade this afternoon! This morning we're enjoying lots of the activities around town. In our excitement we've lost a shoe! If anyone sees a blue shoe like the one in the picture please send it our way if you see us 😊👟

You can tell he's a Mini Makers boy - we were doing some painting to create our costumes for the Mirfield Arts Festival Carnival this Sunday, and all he wanted to do was paint his feet 🤣

Come along tomorrow afternoon for some Superhero🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️ fun (&get out of the rain!☔).
On Thursday 13th of June at 12:30pm or 1:30pm, bring your little one's into the Meadow Room - where the sun always shines ☀️ - and make a card for a Superhero in your life (it's Father's Day on Sunday!), as well enjoying sensory play, stories and songs and sign inspired by our theme. Join us at 12:30pm or 1:30pm to use your little one's footprint to create a superhero picture for someone special in your life. Make your card inspired by the fantastic illustrations by Paul Linnet in Sue Hendra's 'Supertato' books, as well as enjoying the story and Superhero sensory play, signs and songs.🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Today is a day for thinking of heroes. A week today (Thursday 13th of June) come along to Babyccinos at 12:30pm or 1:30pm and use your little one's footprint to create a superhero image and use it for a card to give to a hero in your life. It could be a Father's Day card, a thank you card (I'll be making one for the staff at the local hospital who helped my son the other night - see my previous post). I thought I'd share this link again as it's so important to know what to do in an emergency. We spent Tuesday night in hospital after my boy had a fit during dinner and started to choke. We're home now and he's on the mend but I intend to watch this regularly to keep it in my head, as in the worst moments it's so easy to just panic.

Find out what to do if a baby is choking, thanks to this St John Ambulance video. You could save a baby's life by learning some basic first aid skills.
