The Pottery Spot is a bright, colourful and spacious Paint Your Own Pottery studio in the vibrant market town of Brighouse. It’s the perfect place to bring family and friends for a creative, relaxing arty experience. We’re fun, friendly, and all about encouraging creativity. No experience necessary. You don’t need to be Picasso, just pick a pot and paint it. We have a large range of ceramic bisque

items to paint from kitchenware to novelty characters and seasonal items. Choose from mugs, plates and bowls, ornaments and keepsakes, money banks, vases and much more. Come on your own or with friends and family. Celebrate your birthday, hen party, baby shower, community, corporate or charity events with us. Look out for our special school holiday and seasonal events. In addition to PYOP we will be hosting art classes, courses and workshops. Please look out for more information about these on social media. Our opening hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am - 5pm. Please book via the website www.thepotteryspot.com

Hello Autumn Cocktails & Pottery Painting ✨

We are delighted to welcome Mixologist, Just Add Alcohol, back to the studio for another fabulous evening of cocktails and pottery painting. Hanna has created two bespoke  cocktail recipes just for us and they sound delicious.  

Reserve your seat for £20 which includes two crafted cocktails for you to enjoy while you paint your choice of pottery. 

Two delicious non alcoholic mocktails will be available for non drinkers for £14 with the difference in price deducted from your pottery on the night.  

Pottery is priced separately so you can pick the perfect piece for your budget.

Thank you for an amazing 6 weeks of pottery painting. To everyone who has visited us during the summer holidays we can’t thank you enough. I love seeing what everyone creates and never cease to be amazed by what comes out of the kiln.

We are working hard to glaze and fire all your incredible creations and will message as soon as they are ready to collect.

We’re back open on Saturday 5th September and our Halloween pottery will be on the shelves! 🍁🎃

Friday fun ✨

I am on my way to rainy Ingleton for the weekend so you have my dream team looking after you in the studio today. We have a couple of spots left to paint, please give them a call to book.

Everything painted before the 12th August is out of the kiln and being parcelled up with another kiln being unloaded as soon as it is cool enough this afternoon. They will text as soon as they are ready.

After today, we are closed for the bank holiday, to give the studio a September spruce up (yes that means 🎃) and to catch up glazing all your fab creations. We’ll be back open for painting on Saturday 5th.

Bank holiday weekend ✨

This week we are open tomorrow and Friday and will then be closed on Saturday for the bank holiday weekend to spend time with our families.

We will then be closed for a maintenance week and reopen on Saturday 5th September. I will update on here when we’ll be around for collections during this week.

Thank you so much to everyone who has visited this summer. We appreciate every single one of you for keeping us so busy.

One more week ✨

With just one week until it’s back to school you have just a few days of the holidays left to enjoy some summer pottery painting fun.

We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week and then will be closed for the bank holiday weekend.

We will then be closed for a maintenance week and reopen on Saturday 5th September.

Pottery update ✨

Thank you so much for keeping us so busy busy these last few weeks! We are working really hard to get all your creations glazed, fired and parcelled up for you as quickly as we possibly can.

I’m having to be strategic with kiln loads to make sure everything fits like a perfect 3D jigsaw puzzle. This does mean that some items are being fired out of turn and may take a little longer than others.

You will receive a text message as soon as your pottery is ready to collect. If it has been longer than 3 weeks and you haven’t received a text then please contact the studio.

If you have had your text message to say your pottery is ready then please come and collect it as soon as you are able. We are running out of space to store your creations.

If it’s been longer than 3 weeks and you haven’t had your text then please get in touch. It will definitely be ready.
