🎨 IMAGINATION UNLOCKED 7 — now on at Eype Centre for the Arts
If you’re looking for something a little different this Bank Holiday weekend, come and explore Imagination Unlocked 6 at Eype Centre for the Arts.
This is a wonderfully thought-provoking and intriguing exhibition, bringing together work that invites you to stop, look again and perhaps see something you didn’t expect. From dreamlike figures and fantastical creatures to richly detailed landscapes and imaginative interpretations, there’s plenty to spark curiosity and conversation.
Some pieces are beautiful, some are unusual, some are mysterious — and that’s exactly what makes the exhibition so interesting. 🖼️✨

There's something for everyone at Art@Eype!

Come and browse a wonderful collection of original artwork, prints, ceramics, jewellery, cards and unique handcrafted gifts, with pieces to suit every taste and budget.

While you're here, treat yourself to one of our delicious homemade cakes, with all proceeds going to the Forget Me Not Singers, a wonderful dementia-friendly charity. 🍰💙

It's open now until 4:00 PM tomorrow, so why not pop in, enjoy the art, support a great cause, and maybe find something special to take home?

Dorset In Colour - Art exhibition
The Dorset Colourists present their debut exhibition from Saturday 27th June - Sunday 5th July 2026 10-4.30.

Eight local artists working in dazzling colour depict the Dorset coastal landscape through unique vistas and
interiors. Visitors are treated to delightful details, vast
expanses, plants, figures, objects and animals, all set
within a coastal backdrop.
A variety of techniques are shown including oil, acrylic
and watercolour paintings, original prints, textile collage and ceramics.
Greetings cards, prints and gifts are available, plus free parking.
This exhibition will also pay tribute to Lynne Grace who regularly exhibited at ECA, as part of Colours of Dorset and Artists of the Jurassic coast, until her death in 2025.

Do come and take a look, perhaps wander down and have afternoon tea at Eype Beach Garden Cafe, delicious cakes!

Looking for something to do this weekend?

Come and see the exhibition at the church featuring Goldfish Bowl Studio Sally Davies and Nicola Dennis beautiful and intriguing work. Then walk down to the beach, stopping for breakfast/lunch/afternoon tea/cake Eype Beach Garden Cafe the Dorset Apple cake warmed.with clotted cream is not to be missed!

Art, exercise, good food and fresh air -what more do you need?

New exhibition, 'Splash of Colour' is on this week 11th - 17th open daily 10am - 4pm. Some really beautiful work which is full of colour and texture from 3 different artists.

Cards, prints, painting and very unusual splashbacks all available. Come and see for yourself.
